El lunes 23 se celebra la "Nit de Sant Joan", una festividad muy importante para los catalanes. Esta tradición data de origen pagano consiste en encender hogueras, tirar petardos y lanzar fuegos artificiales por la noche; y se suele acompañar de bebidas, licores y comida para picar, además de música y baile. En Barcelona es muy popular celebrar Sant Joan en la playa, así que os invitamos a venir a la playa de Barceloneta, donde disfrutaremos de la velada, el fuego y la compañía ¡hasta bien entrada la noche!

El evento es totalmente gratuito pero se recomienda traer:

• bebida o comida para compartir

• una toalla o pareo para poder sentarse en la arena

• Pelota volley. Pelota plástico. Frisbee. Cartas etc etc. 🏐🏉🥊

Si os queréis bañar traed bañador (da buena suerte bañarse en la noche de Sant Joan)

Nos encontraremos en Delante de "club Opium". Desde allí nos dirigiremos a la playa. Buscaremos un sitio agradable cerca de alguna red de voleibol, duchas y baños.

On Monday the 23rd "Nit de Sant Joan" is celebrated, a very important festivity for the Catalan people. This tradition dates back to pagan origins and consists of a night of lighting bonfires, firecrackers and fireworks. It is usually accompanied by drinks, spirits and snacks, as well as music and dancing. In Barcelona it is very popular to celebrate Sant Joan on the beach, so we invite you to come to Barceloneta beach, where we will enjoy the evening, the fire and the company well into the night!

The event is totally free but it is recommended to bring:

If you want to swim, bring a swimsuit (it is good luck to swim on the night of Sant Joan)

We will meet in front of "Opium nightclub". From there we will head to the beach. We will find a nice place near a volleyball net, showers and toilets.
