Artificial Intelligence (AI): Fun and Useful Tips--a Free Meeting
The Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
You’ve heard about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Every day, this subject is covered on both general news and business news channels and websites.
If you would like to ask questions of an AI aficionado, you can do so either in person with members of the Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) and the friends of this user group, or via Zoom.
There is no charge for anyone to attend this interesting and valuable presentation because all DMA Meetings are free and open to the public.
The in-person meeting takes place at TJ Chumps in Huber Heights with networking and COD meals beginning at 6:00 PM. The Zoom presentation sound and video checks begin at 6:30 PM. Facilitating this informative, live Zoom presentation, which begins at 7:00 PM (Eastern) on Tuesday, May 25 is Chris Taylor, President of the Ottawa PC Users' Group. The Computer User Group theme is: “Users Helping Users.”

Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools have exploded over the last few years. They can: supercharge web searches & help to find the most relevant information; generate images & videos from text prompts; summarize web pages, YouTube videos, & PDF files; help accomplish tasks in programs; assist with creative writing; and more. Chris Taylor from the Ottawa PC Users' Group will show you how easily it can be done and how to avoid dreaded "AI hallucinations". And you can do it all for free.
Presenter's Bio:
Chris Taylor worked for the Canadian Federal Government for over 36 years in user & server support, IT architecture and IT security. He has been active in community groups for over 40 years and is currently the President of the Ottawa PC Users' Group.
Chris has given over 600 presentations at the Ottawa Public Library. He is on the Speakers Bureau at the APCUG and has given 45 presentations to the APCUG and APCUG member groups. He has written articles for GlassWire's Cybersecurity News and was on the Community Review Board for the SANS OUCH! security newsletter.
Chris has been awarded 15 times as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional. He received the Ottawa Mayor’s City Builder Award and the Ontario Volunteer Service Award in recognition of his volunteer activities.

The Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) is a 49-year-old, 501c(3) Non-profit, All-volunteer, Social Service Organization, most commonly known as a Computer User Group. The theme of user’s groups is: “Users Helping Users.”
Founded in April 1976, the DMA is one of the oldest continuously meeting computer user groups in the world and is the oldest in Southern Ohio. The DMA's mission is to promote interest in and knowledge of all facets of computer technology, to encourage education in computing technologies, and to provide a medium for communication between individuals, product developers, and the public.
The Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc. (DMA) holds an online/in-person monthly General Meeting on the last Tuesday of each month (except in December) about various technology topics.
All DMA meetings are free and open to the public. There may be admission charges for some events in which the DMA volunteers participate, either as presenters or as guests.
