About us
Filmmaking Porto - Pitch & Development Group is a regular meetup focused on developing film and series projects through collaboration, clear thinking, and shared momentum.
Members are encouraged to join with ideas or projects that need help — or with creative skills such as writing, directing, shooting, editing, producing, or acting — and a genuine interest in putting those skills to use on something real.
When the right people and ideas align, collaboration can happen — sometimes paid, sometimes volunteer — but always with the goal of moving projects forward and bringing work to completion.
Projects may include short films, series concepts, or story-driven pieces created for online and social platforms, including occasional collaborations with local businesses or startups looking to tell their story through film.
Sessions are structured but relaxed, with time for focused discussion and optional social time afterward.
We also plan occasional hands-on workshops (for example, Saturday morning stunt fighting classes) and seasonal events.
