Ciara De Keyzer is a figurative Flemish-Irish artist based in Gent.
She graduated from the National College of Art and Design Ireland in 2013 in Fine Art. The artist moved to Gent in 2017 where she then began to develop her current style, firstly drawing the people around her.
The contemporary figurative work aims to combine realism with imaginative elements, creating a space that offers both a sense of reality and an escape from it.
The characters for the work are created with instinct and immediate feelings, encouraging the viewer to make their own interpretation.
