Brigit Laffan , Chancellor of the University of Limerick and Professor Emeritus of the European University Institute has been selected as the Grand Marshal of the 18th Brussels Saint Patrick's Day Parade of the Nations & Regions in recognition of her life-long contribution to the ' European Project'
The UL Alumni are hosting a Meet-up to celebrate her selection.

Also taking place in the same building will be the Cork Jazz Festival Club of Brussels, Irish & Limerick Evening and the write a limerick poetry event organised by Claddagh Toastmasters of Brussels . Admission is free for all events. Self-service restaurant and bar open .
