What we’re about
San Diego Choral Society is a women's singing group dedicated to bringing music to the people of San Diego and to helping young people pursue musical careers. It's almost time to sing again! The next opportunity to join us will be on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 when we begin rehearsing for the spring season. Please join us on February 13th, 20th, or 27th. We are so excited about singing together again and we would love to have you with us! We are a group of women who enjoy singing many different kinds of music, such as show tunes, contemporary popular songs, classical music, etc. There are opportunities for solos, too! We have two seasons, Spring and Fall. Most of our performances are given at senior residences. The residents always look forward to listening to us and welcome us back enthusiastically. We also give a formal concert and reception for friends, family, and the general public each season. We encourage any woman who enjoys singing to join us for the fall season. No scary formal audition! Our director will simply ask you to sing "Happy Birthday" to determine your vocal range. Whether you have been singing for years or haven't sung at all since high school, we encourage you to give us a try! All you need are enthusiasm for singing and a desire to bring happiness to others through music. We hope to see you all soon! Come join us - you'll be glad you did!
