The West London Queer Project (WLQP) is a non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) driven by the desire to connect, support and give voice to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and other sexual and gender identifying (LGBTQ+) people in West London.
Our organisation aims to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people in West London and beyond.
We offer fun events, a safe space, a welcoming, supportive and safe environment to uplift, empower, and connect as well as advocacy, awareness-raising and change making activities among local policy-makers.

West London Queer Project (WLQP) is thrilled to invite the public to its free, family-friendly 5th Birthday Street Party on Sunday 31st August, taking place from 12:00 to 21:00 at Old Market Place in Chiswick!
The celebrations kick off from 12:00 to 14:00 with a vibrant programme for families and children, featuring energetic performances from Pop ‘n Olly and Gnome Theatre. Expect sing-alongs, dance routines, and loads of exciting prizes and giveaways.
From 14:00 onwards, the main stage bursts to life with non-stop live entertainment, including performances by the iconic La Voix, X Factor winner Matt Terry, and a dazzling lineup of London’s top drag artists and vocal talents. WLQP is also proud to showcase incredible local performers, with Alice Pisano, Amilost, and Susie Wilkins representing the best of Chiswick's creative scene.
Alongside the entertainment, guests can enjoy street food and drink stalls, cocktail bars, a speed-glam station powered by headline sponsor NYX Professional Makeup, community and artisan stalls, interactive activities, and giveaways throughout the day.“This isn’t just a street party, it’s a celebration of five incredible years of WLQP, right here in the heart of Chiswick where it all began,” said Aubrey Crawley, Founder of WLQP. “It’s our way of giving back to the friends, neighbours and supporters who’ve stood by us from the very beginning. On a personal level, Chiswick has given me so much over the past decade, and I’m incredibly proud to honour both WLQP’s journey and the community that’s helped shape it.”
