Series Book Club: The Bloodsworn Saga by John Gwynne

This is a second monthly book club event dedicated specifically to reading series, the series we will be reading is The Bloodsworn Saga by John Gwynne starting with the first book in the trilogy The Shadow of the Gods. We will be reading one book per event and will decide whether we want to continue with the series after the discussion of the first book.

The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne is an epic fantasy set in a Norse-inspired world where the gods are dead, but their legacy still shapes the land and its people.
The story follows several characters—each with their own goals—whose paths gradually begin to connect as tensions rise and something powerful begins to stir. It’s a gritty, character-driven tale that blends myth, survival, and the lingering impact of ancient legends.
