Annual business talk: App Launch Guide-Let's Talk About Press Kits For Your Apps

This year, our annual "business" talk takes on the task of launching a new app in the app store, and our speaker, Aleen Simms will discuss strategies to successfully release and promote an app.

Topic: Learn why you (yes, you!) need a press kit, what goes in it, and how to put it together.

The meeting starts at 7pm and it will be held in the first floor conference room 101 of Thinkspace in downtown Redmond ( http://thinkspace.com/about/location/ ). (http://thinkspace.com/about/location/)The formal meeting starts at 7pm, but the meeting room will be open at 6:45pm. So folks can can optionally choose to come in early for informal conversations and shop talk with other Xcoders.

Thinkspace is a 2-minute walk from the Redmond transit center. So if you’re coming over from downtown Seattle, you can take the bus (ST Express 545) to get here quickly.

Alternately, if you drive, parking is free. You can either use ground-level parking or the underground parking garage.
