What is CS50 Scratch?
The Harvard CS50 Scratch is a popular computer science course designed to introduce students to the basic concepts of computer science and programming and provide challenging projects to practice what they have learned.
Course Designer: David J. Malan
The person who designed the most successful CS50 course to date is none other than David J. Malan. David Malan is a professor at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and also teaches computer science at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His iteration of CS50 is one of Harvard and Yale University's largest courses, and also the largest MOOC by edX, with over 4.5 million registered users.
In the scratch CS50 course, students will learn to use logic to incrementally solve problems that might seem very complicated at first glance.
We provide an environment where students can learn programming with fun and intuitive challenges while improving their English. Students can demonstrate what they have learned through tasks such as game development, programmatic storytelling, and Test-Driven-development.
