Walk: Emily Murphy Park to the Legislature Loop

We will walk for ~8-10km, ~1.5-2 hours - the amount of time is all dependent on the pace and number of stops along the way.

We will meet at Emily Murphy Park which is at Groat Road and Emily Murphy Park Road NW. Once in the park turn left at the T-intersection, turn left and then you’ll find us.

We will head over the North Saskatchewan River and head east above the Victoria Park golf course to the legislature and loop around there. From there we will then cross over the river and head west back to the parking lot.

Optional: Afterwards you’re welcome to join us for a bite to eat - place still to be determined. :)

*Remember that if you can’t attend after all, please update your RSVP so we can do a proper headcount at the event.

FAQs
Where are we meeting?

• The info is in the event location. Then on the day of the event close to the start time, the “real time” location will be shared via Google Maps and will be posted in the comments section in case you’re running late.

What should I wear?

• Please wear / bring layers so you can take something off or put on, if need be.

Can I bring my dog?

• **Dogs are very welcome on our in-town events but please note that there are "on leash" and "off leash" sections of these trails, so please be aware of these and adhere to the City's regulations.**

Do I need to sign my dog up as a guest?

• No need - guests mean humans

*We are requesting a voluntary donation of $2 per event, or our suggested annual donation of $20. You can give the money to us and we’ll pass it along to our administrator who pays our group fee on Meetup. Thanks in advance.
