Capilano to Dawson Park Loop

About this walk: 9-10km, ~2 hours of walking time.
We will start from Capilano Park and head west to Dawson Park, take a quick break then head east back to the parking lot.

Just to let you know that there are a few hills plus one set of stairs on this walk and will be on paved and gravel / dirt paths.

Capilano Park parking lot is located at on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River just off of 50th Street and north of 109A Avenue.

• Take 50th Street all the way to the end of the road then just before the boat launch, turn left onto Capilano Park Road.

**Please note:

• This walk will be at a medium pace at minimum with only a few stops along the way.
• * Remember that if you can’t attend, please update your RSVP so we can do a headcount at the event.
• Optional: After you’re welcome to join us for a bite to eat - place TBD.
• *We are requesting a voluntary donation of $2 per event, or our suggested annual donation of $20. You can give the money to us and we’ll pass it along to our administrator who pays our group fee on Meetup. Thanks in advance.

Where are we meeting?

• The info is in the event location. When we arrive at the parking lot, the “real time” location will be shared via Google Maps in the comments in case you’re running late.

What should I wear?

• Please wear / bring layers so you can take something off or put on, if need be. *In winter, please bring ice grips!

Can I bring my dog?

• **Dogs are very welcome on our in-town events but please note that there are "on leash" and "off leash" sections of these trails, so please be aware of these and adhere to the City's regulations.**

Do I need to sign my dog up as a guest?

• No need - guests mean humans
