Walk: Emily Murphy Park to Low Level Bridge Loop

We will walk for about 11-12km, 2-2.5 hours - the amount of time is all dependent on the pace and number of stops along the way.

We will meet at Emily Murphy Park which is at Groat Road and Emily Murphy Park Road NW. Once in the park turn left at the T-intersection, turn left and then you’ll find us.

We will head east to the Low Level Bridge then cross over the North Saskatchewan River and have a pit stop at the washrooms near Louise McKinney Park. Then we will head west to the Walterdale Bridge. From there we'll cross back over the river and continue to head west back to the parking lot.

**Please note:

• This walk will be at a medium pace at minimum with only a few stops along the way.
• * Remember that if you can’t attend, please update your RSVP so we can do a headcount at the event.
• Optional: Afterwards you’re welcome to join us for a bite to eat - place still to be determined. (Possibly Boston Pizza at Westmount, off of Groat Road).
• *We are requesting a voluntary donation of $2 per event, or our suggested annual donation of $20. You can give the money to us and we’ll pass it along to our administrator who pays our group fee on Meetup. Thanks in advance.

FAQs
Where are we meeting?

• The info is in the event location. When we arrive at the parking lot, the “real time” location will be shared via Google Maps in the comments in case you’re running late.

What should I wear?

• Please wear / bring layers so you can take something off or put on, if need be. *In winter, please bring ice grips!

Can I bring my dog?

• **Dogs are very welcome on our in-town events but please note that there are "on leash" and "off leash" sections of these trails, so please be aware of these and adhere to the City's regulations.**

Do I need to sign my dog up as a guest?

• No need - guests mean humans
