**NEW TRAIL for us - please be patient as this is an exploratory trip.**
Please also note that this trail is longer than usual for us AND on pavement. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sandie.

**About this longer walk: ~12.5km, 2-2.5 hours of moving time**
We will meet up at the Northeast River Valley Park event centre (there are washrooms on-site) then loop around the park before heading east along the river valley trail. Once we reach the Edmonton to Strathcona County connector footbridge, we'll take a quick stop for some photos then turnaround and head back the same way.

**DIRECTIONS TO PARKING LOT at the Northeast River Valley Park event centre via Google Maps :

  • From Anthony Henday Drive, head east on 153rd Avenue;
  • Head east toward Meridian St then turn right (south);
  • Turn left (east) onto 153 Ave NE;
  • Turn right (south) onto 17 St NE;
  • Turn right (west) onto 149 Ave NE;
  • Then you'll see the parking lot to the event centre.

Please give yourself enough time to get there.
