Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and Optional CPR Certification

Limited to 15 participants.
Rain or shine weekend- will bring canopies if rain is called for.

Tentative Schedule:
Friday (June 6):
Arrive between 3 and 5 on Friday afternoon (June 6) and set up your tent.
CPR Certification ($30 Additional Cost) 5-7PM

Saturday (June 7):
WFA Class from 8:30-4 with a lunch break around noon
After 4PM free time for hike, cooking dinner, etc.

Sunday (June 8):.
WFA Class from 8:30-3:30 with a lunch break

Cost:
WFA and Camping $80
Add on CPR certification Friday night $30

To take this course through NOLS or a similar agency is $400+ so this is an absolute steal!

Cancellations: No refunds if I can’t fill your spot. Filling your spot is on a best efforts basis, especially once we get closer to the event dates, since people make other plans. The instructor is basically doing this on a volunteer basis so all the funds are for things like camping costs and course materials.

Camping- French Creek State Loop B, Sites 26, 27, 28.
Parking- 1 car per site, extra cars must be parked in overflow lots
Food, Drinks, and camping equipment- BYO. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site but no running water. Site 28 has electric so we'll host the training there. Bring a camp chair!
Alcohol is prohibited in state parks so keep it concealed and low key.
