VALLEY FORGE HUMPDAY HIKE - 6.5 miles; and Dim Sum Dumplings (BYOB)

Details
MOVING TO THURSDAY TO AVOID THE RAIN AND WE WILL TRY TO STICK TO A SLIGHTLY MORE GRAVEL COVERED PATH TO TRY TO HELP MAINTAIN THE TRAILS.
Sunset is at 8:22PM.... WE UP THE HIKE THE FULL 3 CLIMBS THIS WEEK and upping to 6.5 miles... So be ready for some cardio!
This is an intermediate hike (not for beginners), and we will move at a moderate pace of about 3.2mph, and unfortunately with the parking restrictions, we need to keep a faster pace since we need to finish before dark. There are large/steep/rocky hill climbs on this Mount Misery/Mount Joy hike, so you need to be in pretty decent shape, and the rocky terrain requires hiking shoes. We will start hiking at 6:15PM, and plan for this to take about 2 hours to finish.
The meeting spot will be the parking lot at the "Knox's Quarters Parking" next to Knox Tindle Lane and Knox's Quarters.
This is a "dog friendly" hike, if your dog will keep up and is friendly with other dogs. Your dog is your responsibility and needs to be on a leash in order to join on our hikes (I hate this rule too but we need to comply with it).
FOOD AND DRINK AFTERWARDS:
Nan Xiang (King of Prussia) serves its legendary Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings as well as Crispy Pan-Fried Pork Buns, Shanghainese Dim Sum, Stir-Fried Noodles, Stir-Fried Rice Cakes, Scallion Pancakes and Steamed Ginseng Chicken Soup. Also highlighted on the menu are the Truffle Soup Dumplings, Crispy Turnip Puffs, Shanghai Siu Mai, “Lucky-Six” Soup Dumplings and other seasonal specials.
