End of Season Paddle & Party!

Part 1 - Paddle Lock 60 Loop

Arrive at 1:30PM to be on water and paddling at 2:00PM.

Park at the parking lot next to Fitzwater Station.

Easy paddle loop! We'll drop in at Fitzwater, paddle up the canal to Lock 60, carry our vessels over to the river and float back down stream. one more carry back to the canal to finish the loop. Bring water, a small cooler with cold beverages, and sunscreen! Water guns encouraged! No launch permit needed as this is not a state controlled launch. Everyone must have a life jacket for each person on their boat(don't need to wear it) as well as a whistle to comply with state regs.

kayak/canoe rentals are available at Fitzwater Station but you must make your own reservations/payments.

Part 2 - End of Ski Season Party at Joe Moser’s House

5pm

Let's celebrate the start of summer! We can chat about upcoming adventures including hiking, biking, paddling, climbing, backyard bbqs... 'n more... to come!

BYOB. Feel free to bring any type of food and drinks you’d like to throw on the grill or post in comments if you’d prefer to just throw in some money for burgers or beers with others ahead of time.

There will be lawn games, surprise water balloons (if warm enough), and we always get the fire pit going.

Bring a tent or sleeping bag if you want sleep outside.
