VALLEY FORGE HIKE - 6 miles; and Food TBD

Details
Sunset is at 8:12PM so we can get our first 3 climb hike of the season. This will be a tough exercise hike. If we have over 30 people we will split into two groups.
This hike is not for beginners, and we will move at a moderate pace of about 3.2mph, and unfortunately with the parking restrictions, we need to keep a faster pace since we need to finish before dark. There are three fairly large hill climbs on this Mount Misery/Mount Joy hike, so you need to be in pretty decent shape, and the rocky terrain requires hiking shoes, preferably with ankle support. We need to keep a good pace to be able to finish before dark. We will start hiking at 6:15PM, and plan for this to take about 2 hours to finish (we need to finish by 8:15 or it will be dark).
This is a "dog friendly" hike, if your dog will keep up and is friendly with other dogs, but you can not bring your dog afterwards unless it can stay in the car while we eat/drink. Your dog is your responsibility and needs to be on a leash in order to join on our hikes (I hate this rule too but we need to comply with it).
FOOD AND DRINK AFTERWARDS (TBD):
TBD... Maybe Yards in KOP
