Making it with Blender is the first event in our new making it… series where we dive into essential tools and technologies.

For this event, Blender artists will pull back the curtain on how they build their work - sharing a mix of workflows, tools, happy accidents, and hard-won lessons behind their scenes and experiences.

Expect a friendly mix of short showcases and process talks, with plenty of time for questions, conversation, and meeting fellow makers across VR/XR, realtime, and 3D - whether you’re brand new to Blender or deep in your node graphs already.

Speakers include Frances Briffett, and Katy Smith.

Frances Briffett
Frances is a 3D artist with a background in games art who is currently working as a visualiser in the construction industry. She is experienced in all aspects of the games art pipeline, from pre-production to cinematics using Unreal 4&5, Maya, Blender, Sketchup and more.
