O.P.E.N support & community: Neurodiversity & non-monogamy
Details
May the 4th be with us all! O.P.E.N is back for another support & community and this month our middle topic will be neurodiversity & non-monogamy.
Several members of our community including co-organizer Quinn are autistic or otherwise neurodivergent (ADHD, dyslexia, etc.) How does this affect the way we conduct our relationships? What would neurodivergent members of our community like their friends and partners to know? What can we learn from other neurodivergent non-monogamous people?
As always, everyone is welcome, whether you're an expert in the topic, you have questions or you just want to listen. And of course we'll have general support at the end as we always do. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Yorkshire O.P.E.N is a community for people in or curious about ethically non-monogamous relationships.
Once a month we come together to have a chat over some drinks and support each other with building great relationships, in a safe and welcoming environment.
Newcomers are always welcome! We're a friendly community and we have new faces almost every month. If you're nervous about coming along for the first time, get in touch with the organisers and we can arrange to meet you beforehand.
Owing to the ongoing pandemic, all our meetups are happening online on Zoom until further notice. It should be the same link every month, which you can find on this event page.
You can join with or without a camera or microphone - if you'd like to just listen or communicate using the text chat, you're welcome to do that. And please feel free to use a fake name.
Events often look a bit like this:
7.00: social time (bring your own crafts!)
7.30: introductions and a chance to air what's on your mind about relationships in a structured way
8.00: a roundtable chat about a topic (related to relationships) agreed by the community in advance
8.45: break and social time
9.00: support session - a chance for people to help each other with specific questions, problems or concerns
9.45: social time if you'd like to stay on the call
10.00: close
If you've not been before, please check out our website: https://www.y-open.org.uk/ which has info about what to expect at a meetup, as well as the basic ground rules we put in place to keep this event a safe space.
Hope to see you all there!
