What we’re about
Yachad is dedicated to enriching the lives of Jewish individuals with disabilities and their families, by enhancing their communal participation and their connection to Judaism through social and educational programs and support services.
We offer weekly programming for members with disabilities as well as Sunday field trips and outings. We have programs for young adults, gender separated programs, and holiday parties. We range in age 16-85 with efforts on starting a children's program. We have volunteer opportunities for high schoolers and up as well as internships with Semester in the City and Emmanuel College and service corps placements through Repair the World in Boston. Yachad clubs operate at two local high schools in the Boston area and help support our programs and plan events.
