Brief History:
YappieMKE is derived from the word "Yuppie," a 1980's term for a young urban professional. Therefore, YappieMKE is a "Young Asian Professional of Milwaukee."
Mission:
The purpose of this group is to meet new friends who want to be more active in the community. We host several events throughout the year promoting Asian awareness and celebrating Asian culture. Although the name is Young Asian Professionals of Milwaukee, it is open to all people of age and ethnicity.
