Day Hike: Rendezvous Mountain Exploration

Please join me for this novel exploration of our own nearby Rendezvous Mountain State Recreation Area. This hike will have us beginning at the Mountain Ridge Trail Trailhead and we will use the Mountain Ridge Trail to enter into the park proper.

Our hike will take us along Purlear Creek and by the scenic Amadehy Falls and we will complete a loop around the park before returning back down the Mountain Ridge trail from where we came.

This is a largely exploratory hike for me, as I have not done this route before, so please come with a snack, lunch, at least 2 liters of water and a mind prepared for a day of exploratory adventure in the backcountry of our dear Yadkin Valley!
