Tango Completo:
Special guest instructor Tracy Renee Stafford from Buenos Aires introduces a specialized movement program which blends the distinctive charm of Argentine Tango with core mobility exercises. In addition to having trained as a professional dancer, Tracy also has over twenty years of experience as a certified pilates and yoga teacher.
7:30-8 Tango Conditioning:
Improve body awareness, balance, & tango posture by practicing simple exercises. The body is our instrument in Tango, and these exercises will deepen & awaken our inner dancer.
The first half hour will be done solo and without shoes.
8-9 Tango Secrets:
In this part of the class, I’ll share what I’ve learned from master teachers in Buenos Aires about how to advance your tango quickly, by playing with the steps that we already know. Embrace, tango variations, & musicality will all be in the mix.
9-9:30 open practice: time to put all our hard work into play!
