Edmonton Bitcoin Meetup - Halloween Edition

On October 31st, 2008 - apparently too busy to recognize it was Halloween - Satoshi Nakamoto published the whitepaper "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System".

If you can, come drop by to celebrate the 10 year birthday of our favorite invention. We will keep the content light and make this more of a casual social/networking event for anyone that can make it out.

Costumes encouraged, but optional.

The Edmonton Bitcoin Meetup is a group of enthusiasts that like hanging out and talking about all the aspects of this technology and help each other advance our understanding. We meet regularly on the third Wednesday of every month.

Everyone is welcome, but if you are new to this, we also host the "Bitcoin Beginners Meetup" which is caters to helping people get started, get them answers to all questions and help them meet people on a similar trajectory. The beginner meetup occurs on the second Tuesday of every month.

We generally present a recap of the last month of events and host presentations on some intermediate/advanced topics. We also have Q&A, group discussion and leave time for networking and mingling. Many of us have first-hand experience in using and building on the technology, trading, mining and many other things. We hope like-minded people interested in the same aspects of this huge space can meet each other and have great discussions.
