¿Qué mejor manera de despedir un año y empezar otro que rodeados de montañas?
Para esta aventura especial de Nochevieja, exploraremos el lado más salvaje de Montserrat en una travesía de montaña de dos días, descubriendo espectaculares formaciones rocosas, estrechos pasos de montaña y paisajes impresionantes lejos de las multitudes.

Pasaremos la noche en el Refugi Vicenç Barbé, rodeado de las impresionantes agujas de roca de Les Agulles, donde disfrutaremos juntos de una cena especial de Nochevieja. 🥂
¡Una celebración acogedora seguida de un buen reto Yepalo Summit para empezar 2027!

🥾 Día 1 – 31 de diciembre: Santa Cecília → Refugi Vicenç Barbé
Saldremos de Barcelona sobre las 14h, a menos que todos podamos salir antes y aprovechar más el día.
Desde Santa Cecília, caminaremos por los espectaculares paisajes de montaña de Les Agulles hasta llegar al Refugi Vicenç Barbé.
📏 Distancia: 6,2 km
⛰️ Desnivel positivo: aprox. +550 m

🥂 Nochevieja en el refugio
Celebraremos la llegada de 2027 con una cena especial de Nochevieja en el refugio, disfrutando de buena comida, buena compañía y un ambiente cálido y acogedor en plena montaña.
¡Será una celebración tranquila y agradable, no una fiesta loca!

🥾 Día 2 – 1 de enero: Travesía de Montserrat
Empezaremos 2027 con una ruta espectacular y exigente por algunos de los rincones más salvajes e impresionantes de Montserrat.
Nos espera una jornada intensa, con constantes subidas y bajadas, senderos rocosos de montaña, pequeñas grimpadas ocasionales y vistas increíbles.
Regresaremos a Santa Cecília antes de volver a Barcelona.
El itinerario podrá adaptarse en función de la meteorología, las condiciones de la montaña y la seguridad del grupo.

🚦 Nivel de dificultad: Difícil
Se requiere una buena condición física y experiencia previa en senderismo de montaña, especialmente para el segundo día (18,6 km y +1.100 m de desnivel positivo).
Dificultad técnica: moderada
El recorrido incluye senderos de montaña empinados y rocosos, pequeñas grimpadas ocasionales en las que tendremos que ayudarnos de las manos y algunos pasos ligeramente expuestos. No se requiere experiencia en escalada, pero es importante tener buen equilibrio y moverse con seguridad por terrenos de montaña.

🏡 Alojamiento y cena de Nochevieja
Pasaremos una noche en el Refugi Vicenç Barbé, un refugio de montaña situado en la espectacular zona de Les Agulles de Montserrat.
Nuestra estancia incluye:

• Una noche en habitaciones compartidas

🚗 ¿Cómo llegamos?
Compartiendo coches privados desde Barcelona. Durante el proceso de reserva te preguntaremos si tienes coche y cuántas personas pueden venir contigo. Cada pasajero pagará 15€ al conductor para cubrir los gastos del coche.

🎒 Qué llevar

• Botas o zapatillas de montaña con buen agarre
• Mochila de senderismo cómoda (con espacio suficiente para lo necesario para pasar una noche)
• Ropa térmica y forro polar
• Chaqueta de abrigo
• Chaqueta impermeable y cortavientos

• Gorro y guantes
• Frontal con batería suficiente (imprescindible)
• Agua (mínimo 1,5 L)
• Picnic y snacks para las rutas

Política de cancelación
¿Cambio de planes? ¡No pasa nada!
Si cancelas con 30 días o más de antelación, te daremos un bono por el 100% de la paga y señal, que podrás utilizar para un futuro viaje de Yepalo.
Si cancelas entre 29 y 7 días antes de la actividad, deberás abonar el 50% del precio total del viaje.
En caso de cancelación de última hora (menos de 7 días antes), deberás abonar el importe total del viaje.
Sin embargo, si no puedes venir y conseguimos cubrir tu plaza con otra persona, te ofreceremos un bono del 100% del importe que hayas pagado, válido durante 3 meses. ✨

For this special New Year's Eve adventure, we'll explore the wild side of Montserrat on a two-day mountain trek, discovering spectacular rock formations, narrow mountain passages and breathtaking landscapes far from the crowds.
We'll spend the night at Refugi Vicenç Barbé, nestled among the impressive rock needles of Les Agulles, where we'll enjoy a special New Year's Eve dinner together. 🥂
A cosy celebration followed by a proper Yepalo Summit challenge to kick off 2027!

🥾 Day 1 – December 31: Santa Cecília → Refugi Vicenç Barbé
We'll leave Barcelona at around 2 PM, unless everyone is available to depart earlier and make the most of the day.
Starting from Santa Cecília, we'll hike through the spectacular mountain landscapes of Les Agulles until we reach Refugi Vicenç Barbé.
📏 Distance: 6.2 km
⛰️ Elevation gain: approx. +550 m

🥂 New Year's Eve at the refuge
We'll celebrate the arrival of 2027 with a special New Year's Eve dinner at the refuge, enjoying good food, good company and a warm mountain atmosphere.
It'll be a cosy and relaxed celebration, not a crazy party!

🥾 Day 2 – January 1: Montserrat Mountain Traverse
We'll start 2027 with a spectacular and challenging hike through some of Montserrat's wildest and most impressive landscapes.
Expect a demanding day with constant ups and downs, rocky mountain trails, occasional short scrambles and incredible views.
We'll return to Santa Cecília before heading back to Barcelona.
The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather, mountain conditions and the group's safety.

🚦 Difficulty level: Hard
A good level of fitness and previous mountain hiking experience are required, especially for the second day (18.6 km and +1,100 m elevation gain). Technical difficulty: moderate

The route includes steep and rocky mountain trails, occasional short scrambles where we'll use our hands, and a few slightly exposed passages. No climbing experience is required, but good balance and sure-footedness are important.

🏡 Accommodation & New Year's Eve Dinner
We'll spend one night at Refugi Vicenç Barbé, a mountain refuge located in the spectacular Les Agulles area of Montserrat.
Our stay includes:

• One night in shared accommodation
• Special New Year's Eve dinner on December 31
• Breakfast on January 1

The refuge offers a simple, authentic mountain experience in a beautiful natural setting.
Since it's New Year's Eve, the refuge will prepare a special dinner to celebrate the occasion. 🥂
When signing up, we'll ask you about any dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances in the registration form.

🚗 How do we get there? Sharing private cars from Barcelona. In the booking process, we will ask you if you have a car and how many people can go with you. Each passenger will pay the driver €15 to cover the car expenses.

🎒What to bring:

• Hiking boots or mountain shoes with excellent grip
• Comfortable hiking backpack (large enough for overnight essentials)
• Warm thermal layers and fleece
• Warm insulated jacket
• Waterproof and windproof jacket
• Hiking trousers
• Hat and gloves
• Headlamp with sufficient battery (essential)
• Water (minimum 1.5 L)
• Picnic and snacks for the hikes
• Trekking poles (recommended)
• Personal toiletries and a small towel
• Sleeping bag

• Change of clothes and essential overnight items
• Small bag for rubbish

Please pack light: we'll be carrying our belongings during the hikes.

We believe small groups are the best way to enjoy mountain adventures, especially on challenging routes where safety, flexibility and group spirit really matter.

Cancellation policy:
Change of plans? No problem!
If you cancel 30 days or more before the activity, we'll give you a voucher for 100% of your advance payment, which you can use towards a future Yepalo trip.
If you cancel between 29 and 7 days before the activity, 50% of the total trip price will be due.
In case of a last-minute cancellation (less than 7 days before the activity), the full trip price will be due.
However, if you can't make it and we manage to fill your spot with someone else, we'll offer you a 100% voucher for the amount you've paid, valid for 3 months. ✨
