Yes & Toastmasters - 4th Thursday

Details
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Fountaindale Public Library. If you prefer, yoiu can attend remotely via Zoom: https://yesandtoastmasters.org/zoom/
Here is what you can expect at the Yes & Toastmasters Meetup:
Think Fast on Your Feet: The first half of every meeting features improv games that will teach you how to react in the moment. It is not easy to know what to say in any situation. The truth is, there is always something to say, and it can often be done with humor. Improv games are a fun way to improve your ability always to have something to say in any situation.
Public Speaking Confidence: The second half of every meeting will feature 1 or 2 prepared speeches by club members. Most people are afraid to get up and speak in front of others. If you have the confidence to speak, you will open up many doors for success by developing the courage to step up and stand out from the crowd! Build your belief that you can give a powerful presentation and energize your audience!
Become Socially Fearless: Learn how to push through your fear and go for anything you want in your life! The second half of our meeting includes another opportunity for improv. We call these "Table Topics" where members and guests get the chance to answer questions spontaneously. Table topics are a great way to learn to speak confidently on the spot. This can help members and guests to gain confidence for job interviews, dealing with customers, and even personal relationships.
Build Natural Humor: The tools you will pick up by attending a Yes & meeting will teach you how to use humor to win over your family, friends, and audience to keep them entertained in any situation.
Team Building and Leadership: Learn to become an influential leader by building strong communication skills. Learn about the magic behind active listening, accepting difficult situations by building on them, and using your voice tone and body language effectively!
