Unbroken Light! Art Exhibition
Details
Unbroken Light is an exhibition organised by Yesense CIC at Swiss Cottage Library, bringing together paintings and sculptures by artists from Ukraine
The exhibition explores humanity, memory, courage and the quiet inner light that can survive even in the darkest moments of war. It is about what remains unbroken inside a person, a family, a community and a culture when life is changed by loss, displacement and uncertainty
The opening event will take place on Tuesday 16 June at 4pm
During the opening, guests will be able to meet the artists, hear them speak about their work and experience a music programme.
The opening will also include a free symbolic creative session, Metaphorical Balls, led by Mariia Bezusa and doodling led by Alona Kushnirenko. Through simple creative exercises, metaphor and storytelling, participants will be invited to explore their own reflections and create small personal fairy tales inspired by colour, shape and imagination
No artistic experience is needed. This session is about creativity, self expression and gentle personal reflection, not about making something perfect
Everyone is welcome. We will be glad to see people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures. You can come to look, listen, take part, speak with the artists or simply spend time in a warm and thoughtful creative space
