Hike to Rudolfswarte and Feuersteinberg

On Sunday, 16.02.2025, I will do a challenging hike to the Rudolfswarte and to the Speichberg. We start in Purkersdorf near Vienna Santorium train stop, visit the Rudofswarte and then look at the wild boars in the outdoor enclosure at the Vienna Woods Nature Park, go to the Feuersteinberg (507m) and possibly to the Speichberg. We go back closer to the settlement via Purkersdorf to the origin of the hike.

Altitude difference: approx. 700m up and 700m down

We meet at 8:45 a.m. in Vienna WESTBAHNHOF at the ticket machine on level 1 (same level where the trains leave), at the many seats near the Infopoint and leave together from platform 4 at 8:56 a.m. The Wiener Linien annual ticket is valid until Sanatorium Purkersdorf, so you don't have to buy an extra ticket if you have the Wiener Linien annual ticket.

Everyone has to bring their own food and drink (at least 1 liter), as we will not stop at an inn. We take breaks to rest and eat as needed.
