Fireworks Night! - CGK Outdoors Club x YIF(Yokohama International Family) Event

Hello everyone,
You’re invited to join our collaboration event of CGK Outdoors Club x YIF (Yokohama International Family) community - enjoying a nighttime picnic and Fireworks at Yamashita Park on Saturday the 8th of June!

CGK Outdoors Club is designed primarily for CGK community for hiking and other outdoor activities.
For this event, we invite other friends or family members who may not be members of the CGK community.

After a picnic with CGK friends and families in Yamashita Park, the event will conclude with lighting some fireworks at World Square!

At the beginning of the event, YIF members will meet at Yamashita Park at 5:45pm, separate from the CGK families. CGK teachers will welcome you and YIF members will have an ice-breaking time together!

[Details and Schedule]
Date: Saturday the 8th of June

5:45pm: Meeting at Yamashita Park (ONLY YIF members)

6.15pm-700pm: Nighttime picnic (Meeting up with CGK families.)
7.00-7.15pm: Walk to World Square, Yamashita Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/pERkgpuBQSdMq9JY8)

7.15pm-7.45pm: Fireworks at the World Square!

8.00pm: Event ends. Families are welcome to stay in Yamashita Park longer if they wish.

[Other notes]
1. If the event is to be canceled due to rain, an announcement will be made by 3pm, Friday the 7th of June.

2. Families will need to bring their own fireworks. Please ensure that only hand-held fireworks are brought. We cannot use rockets or projectiles that shoot into the sky.

3. If families would prefer just to watch, CGK will also have a small supply of fireworks that staff will be lighting.

4. If you wish to, please wear Yukata or other Summer clothes!

5. Please be considerate of other families and people in the park.

6. Please ensure all rubbish is taken with you.

7. Please note that parents are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at the event. CGK staff are not responsible for students at CGK Outdoor Club events. Unaccompanied children will not be allowed to attend.

[Items to bring]
-Fireworks (if you wish to light your own). Please ensure that fireworks are hand-held only - no rockets or projectiles that can shoot.
-Lighter/Candles (if needed)
-A small bucket or container for putting used fireworks into.
-Leisure sheet
-Dinner
-Bug spray
-Rubbish bags

[Parking]
There is a large, paid carpark at Yamashita Park underneath World Square

[Public Transport]
The closest subway station is Motomachi-Chukagai Station.
There are regular buses to Yamashita Park

[Notes on Attire]
Students and parents are encouraged to wear Yukata or other Summer clothes.

皆さん、こんにちは！
6月8日（土）に山下公園で行われるナイトイベント、花火大会にご招待します！

このイベントはCGK Outdoors ClubとYIF(横浜インターナショナルファミリー)の合同イベントです。
CGK Outdoors Clubは、CGKに在籍するファミリーのために発足された、ハイキングやその他のアウトドア・アクティビティを楽しむためのコミュニティ・クラブです。

今回の6月8日のイベントでは、CGKコミュニティのメンバーでないご友人やご家族も招待します。

CGKのお友達と山下公園でピクニックを楽しんだ後、最後にワールドスクウェア（世界の広場）で花火を行います！

イベントの初め、CGKのご家族とは別に、YIFの皆さんは、5時45分に山下公園に集合です。CGKの先生たちがお迎えいたしますので、YIFのメンバー同士でアイスブレイクをします。

18時15分～19時 夜のピクニック(CGKのご家族と合流)

20時00分 イベント終了。終了後は、帰宅もしくは滞在を延長するなどご自由にお過ごしください。

[その他の注意事項]
1. 雨天中止です。中止のご連絡は6月7日(金)午後3時にします。
2. 花火は各自でご用意ください。花火は手持ち花火のみとさせていただきます。ロケット花火は使用できません。
CGKでは、スタッフが点火する花火もご用意しております。
3. 是非、浴衣など夏の服装でお越しください。
4. 他のご家族や公園内の方々へのご配慮をお願いいたします。
5. ゴミは必ずお持ち帰りください。
6. お子様の安全管理は保護者の方の責任においてお願いいたします。CGKのスタッフは、CGKアウトドアクラブのイベントでの生徒に対して責任を負いません。
7. 同伴者のいないお子様のご参加はご遠慮ください。

[持ち物]
-花火（自分で火をつけたい場合）。花火は手持ち花火のみとし、ロケット花火や打ち上げ花火はご遠慮ください。
-ライター／キャンドル（必要な方のみ）
-バケツ(使用済みの花火を入れる小さなバケツまたは容器)
-レジャーシート
-夕食
-虫除けスプレー
-ゴミ袋

[駐車場]
ワールドスクエア（世界の広場）の地下にある山下公園に大きな有料駐車場があります。

[公共交通機関]
最寄りの地下鉄駅は元町・中華街駅。
山下公園行きの定期バスあり。

[服装について]
子供・保護者は浴衣など夏服で是非お越しください。

*Meetup members need to be at least 18 years old. While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.
