5 Downtown Dayton Metroparks and a number of Bridges Hike

We haven’t hiked around Downtown Dayton for awhile. We will meet at 2nd Street Market Metropark, Let’s try parking around the adjacent buildings so we don’t take up all the best parking spots while we hike.
We will head to Triangle Park down the bike path and return to Riverscape Metropark passing both Deeds Point Metropark and Island Metropark on the way. That’s only 4 Metroparks!!! If you want to do a hike of 3 miles or so, you can head back to 2nd Street Market from Riverscape which is an easy short walk away. Others who want a longer hike will venture along the river to Sunrise Metropark for the 5th Metropark in one hike!! The return trip goes through courthouse square and other Dayton Landmarks. For a total mileage around 7 miles. It’s all pretty flat downtown and we will be going 3 mph.
Strategically we will end the hike at 2nd Street Market which will be serving lunch and has a lot of other great vendors!! The new Silos beer garden is just a short walk away.
