Arcata Community Forest - Big Loop!

Heading to the Arcata Community Forest for a nice big 7.0 mile loop! This one will keep us on the wider gravel/ dirt roads for the majority of the hike, with some single track trail mixed in.
We’ll meet at Redwood Park, @ the gate nearest the playground and adventure from there on a hike that’ll be a great sampling of the trail system for those that have not explored the park much and will provide a nice familiar boundry for future tromps in this great down the street gem.
The loop that we’ll be doing has a good bit of up and down, with about 1,100’ of elevation gain total, which will hopefully be challenging for all.
Leashed dogs are welcome in the park and on our hike!
