Exploring the Early Signs of Catching a Cold
Details
Have you ever felt like something was a little off before you actually knew you were catching a cold?
In this experiential Yoception workshop, we’ll explore the subtle early sensations of catching a cold and ground them in body science.
We’ll start by reflecting on our own experiences, explore some of the science behind what we notice, and then learn how to pay better attention going forward. Through simple practices, personal observation, and group conversation, we’ll learn how to become more curious and precise observers of our own bodies.
What we'll do:
- Learn to notice the subtle signals within
- Understand the science that may be behind them
- Explore simple practices to support balance
What to bring:
A yoga mat, blanket, or anything you'd like to sit on. We'll be on the grass.
A curious mind
Location:
The great lawn in front of the Field Museum near the waterfront.
We’ll start with warm tea and time to connect.
This is a donation-based offering.
