Yoga for Men - (Climbers, Runners, Padel Players ā¦) Saturday Morning

Details
If you would like to have more mobility, get rid of annoying muscle pains or lower your levels of dissatisfaction and stress, Yoga might be a very powerful tool for you to achieve all this. We are here to encourage more Men to start practicing Yoga!
At Yoga for Men we believe that the social stigma of Yoga being "atypical" has already been broken but we also see the need for Yoga classes that are specifically tailored to Men's needs.
We practice a simplified version of Ashtanga Yoga that is designed to repair the body and be easily accessible to all levels of experience. We don't approach Yoga as a spiritual practice but rather as a benchmark test for your body that helps you to methodically fix your own problems and gain more independence.
Cost of the experience:
The contribution for the event is 10ā¬. This helps us to maintain the space, grow the group and keep working on quality. The payment can be made in cash on the day. If you need another way to make the payment please write to us.
If you don't have your own Yoga mat we will provide one for you.
The practice is led by Piotr who began practicing Yoga more then ten years ago to fix pains that were a result of intense martial arts training. He has since discovered his love for climbing. Nowadays he uses Yoga to stay mobile, pain-free and to recover faster for tomorrow's climbing session.
The practice itself takes about 60 min. Afterwards you are welcome to either continue with your day or stay to ask questions and get to know the other men over tea. Doors close 5 min before the practice so please make sure to be on time*.
The benefits you can expect from participating are:
Short term: Already the first time will make you feel great. You will unblock your circulation and increase metabolism while the pain you will experience during the practice will turn to a feeling as if someone had massaged you from inside out. Experience this for yourself!
Mid-term: After a few times joining the practice your mind will start to be able to direct attention to the places where it's needed the most. You will learn how to look for solutions to misalignments and you will strengthen the small muscles in your body along the way.
Long-term: You will learn how to be aware of the physical state you're in and how to resolve blockades permanently. You'll learn how to sit comfortably in a full-lotus seat and to benefit from this iconic meditation position both physically and mentally. If you stay motivated, this practice can be a major investment in your long-term health.
If you feel unsure or hesitant please write us a message so we can have a chance to address your personal concerns.
See you on the Yoga mat!
* in case of a no-show the event fee cannot be refunded if payed upfront. Arrival after the doors close will be handled like a no-show
