The curriculum combines detailed alignment knowledge and intelligent sequencing in vinyasa style to provide you with sound skills for teaching safe and effective yoga classes. We will study and deconstruct asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, therapeutics, yoga theory, yoga practice, yoga history and philosophy. Each day we will learn about anatomy, kinesiology, applied biomechanics, and how to use this knowledge to optimize your yoga and movement practice and teaching. Students can expect to complete this training with new perspectives on yoga study, a greater understanding of biomechanical alignment principles, and expanded general knowledge.

"Very impressed by Rad's course, his presence and his care. As someone who came to both yoga and teaching relatively late (I'm 68), and without a high degree of flexibility, for me this course struck a balance between stretching and building confidence. It's obvious Rad has put in a huge amount of preparation, the course materials are very in depth, not just in anatomy and other physical aspects of yoga, but this historical, philosophical and spiritual aspects, which are very much part of yoga. The course centres on alignment teaching in Hatha Yoga, using Iyengar as the starting point, but with modern modifications. However, the course also touches on Vinyasa, Tantra Kundalini and Chair yoga. He also gives attention to pranayama and meditation teaching and practices. I would highly recommend this course to others." Steve H.
"Rad created a brilliant course for us and delivered it superbly. It was intense doing 10 hours a day but I really enjoyed it and found it transformative. the course deepened my Yoga practice, knowledge and understanding of yoga. I am now teaching with confidence and getting deeper into my yoga and meditation practice. I can thoroughly recommend this training." James H.
"Rad expertly led an awesome and intense training with patience, skill, and a huge sense of fun. Our focus was on learning to teach, and on applied anatomy to understand poses and sequencing. We also studied yoga philosophy, particularly Patanjali's Sutras in depth, giving us a solid spiritual basis for the asana and pranayama practices. It was amazing to see everyone in the group complete the course by teaching a full, unique and heartfelt yoga class to everyone else. Thank you Rad!" Rich H.
"The eloquent, determined, disciplined and knowledgeable way Rad delivered this was outstanding. The background, history, philosophy, and anatomy, were very new to me and such a rich area of development which I am continuing with. By the end of the training each student was able to give a competent 75 minute yoga session which had a philosophical theme, included the pose names in both English and Sanskrit, clear instructions, leading pace and able to offer adjustments to the other students. This also included teaching breath and meditation. I was stunned by the achievements of the students. My personal goals of understanding so much more and improving my confidence and being able to hold space for others has been achieved several fold. I have also learnt so much more about myself in the process. I consider myself very fortunate to have been through this process with Rad and consider him to be an extremely competent teacher and mentor of teachers." David F.
