Dynamic Hatha Yoga in Alberta Park

I'm back to teach after an August break so all those curious about yoga and yogis of all levels who would like to practice outdoors amongst like-minded souls in the summer breeze, come on out and enjoy September with us!
In joining our group, you will partake in either a signature Hatha sequence with its foundational style based in Universal Yoga. This class is designed to link breath to movement while strengthening and stretching the body. You will be lead step-by-step through an energizing dynamic sequence of poses by a passionate yoga teacher with 300 hours training experience under the morning sun and shady trees.
Bring a yoga mat and/or towel to practice on. Please arrive at least 5 min early as class begins at 10 am sharp and its best to begin all together in unison.
Classes are 60 min in length with a 7-10 min rest period (savasana) typically including a light sound bath and are set for every Saturday at 10 am- 11:15 am in Alberta Park (Meet at the Corner of NE 22nd Ave & Killingsworth).
Previous Class dates: 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15, and 7/22.
New class dates: Saturdays in September on the 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.
October dates may be announced given great weather conditons.
Price: $15 Both Venmo and cash accepted.
Yoga is taught to everyone in this meet up with utmost respect and non judgement in order to create a peaceful ripple effect amongst all members.
It is also important to note that in joining the group and participating, it is expected that you are practicing and making individual judgement calls for your body type concerning limitations/capabilities. You are advised to err on the side of caution and take poses at your own risk and be gentle with yourself. Only You know your own body and your personal limits.
