🌜Soften in meditative and passive stretches to release physical tightness, and allow the connective tissues and joints to stretch.✨
🌜These are open to beginners, non yoga practitioners, really anyone who wishes to slow down, practice letting go, stillness and Introspection.
🌜Yin Yoga has origins in Chinese Medicine which believes in healing the various energy/chi channels by compressing or stretching certain areas of the body, thereby replenishing or redirecting energy properly to balance our physical and emotional health.
🌜Physically speaking this practice is a series of stretches that are held passively for 2 to 6 minutes each.
We use a lot of props to support ourselves like bolsters, Blocks, blankets…
🌜We try to find stillness of body and mind, balancing our busy lives in this very relaxing and rejuvenating practice.
