Hatha yoga is a preparatory process of yoga. "Ha" means sun, "ta" means moon. The intention of hatha yoga is to bring balance between the sun and moon in you.

This 1 hour class will be structured in the following away: starting with pranayama (mindful breathing), followed by warms up, sun salutations, and a series of asanas (standing, balance, twists, seated, inversions) tied with intentional breathing to bring steadiness to your body and mind. The class will end with meditation and quiet time on the floor.

Modifications will be offered throughout the class.

Yoga mats and blocks will be available for borrowing. Cleaning supplies will also be available to help maintain a clean space.
