Together we will cultivate a safe heaven into self-connection and personal and spiritual growth. A space to let go of the day-to-day stress and restore the body and mind. Join us to practice ancient movement, breathing, and meditation techniques designed to induce positive mental and physical states of flow, vitality, and clarity. Everyone is welcome. No matter who you are or where you are in your practice, we believe that yoga is for everyone.
Even if you are unable or unwilling to do physical exercise, there are many other ways to do yoga. In reality, asana yoga is only one of the ways to practice yoga and every and each path present endless possibilities for well being and personal growth. According to Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga, the different aspects of yoga practice are Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samhadi. The different paths of yoga can guide, transform and integrate many aspects of our life. They guide us into cultivating and developing ethical standards, integrity, self-discipline and spiritual observance ( Yama & Niyama); mastery over our life and energy through mastery over the breath (Pranayama); allowing us to withdraw from sensory stimulus in order to relive from outwards stimuli and distractions (Pratyahara); it promotes concentration and the art of slowing down the thinking process (Dharana); developing meditation or contemplation (Dhyana) or a state where the mind becomes quiet and still; and finally Samhadi or profound and complete connection with the divine and interconnectedness with everything else.
The purpose of this group is to create opportunities to explore and experience different aspects of yoga and create a community of like-minded people who share this love for yoga in all its manifestations.
