MORE INFO ON AFTER PARTY: The festival after party is at Bar Louie (11006 Veirs Mill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902). It is a 7 minute walk from Chuck Levin’s Music Center. There will be drinks specials with festival flyer or ticket: $3.50 for 14oz drafts, $4.50 for wine by the glass and $5.50 signature martinis! We will have three education panels planned from 2:00pm - 5:20pm:

Filmmaking Process: a discussion on the process of filmmaking including pre-production, image capture, and editing; with special focus on how to best record audio with Maryanne Culpepper and Adam Levin.

Entertainment Law 101: an overview of key legal concepts for creative professionals including option agreements, copyright, trademark, work for hire agreements & more. With John Mason, presented by Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA).

Future of Filmmaking: a discussion on drones, virtual reality and other technological advances that affect filmmaking, how to adapt and what we may expect for the future of filmmaking with Chris Petracco.

The filmmakers will get to introduce their film to the attending audience and do a brief Q&A.
