About us

Hello and welcome.

My name is Sergio, and I am a relatively new student of Self-Realization Fellowship. I wanted to create a simple, friendly space in Prague for people who feel connected to Paramahansa Yogananda, SRF, Kriya Yoga, meditation, or the spiritual search more generally.

The idea is very simple: to meet like-minded people, have tea or coffee, talk, share inspiration, and perhaps sometimes sit together quietly in meditation. This is not meant to be formal, heavy, or exclusive. People from all walks of life, all countries, and all levels of experience are warmly welcome.

This circle may be especially meaningful for:

SRF Lessons students living in Prague
Devotees or readers of Paramahansa Yogananda
People who have practiced Kriya Yoga or meditation before
People who are simply curious and sincerely interested
Anyone looking for peaceful spiritual fellowship in Prague

I should also say clearly and kindly that this is not an official SRF group, center, or meditation circle. It is only an informal gathering of people who would like to connect around Yogananda’s teachings and spiritual practice.

Because I personally follow the SRF path, I would like this group to respectfully follow SRF-related boundaries. There are many Kriya Yoga lineages and many spiritual approaches, and I respect that. At the same time, SRF has clear guidelines around its Lessons and meditation techniques. For that reason, we will not share, teach, copy, explain, or discuss private SRF Lessons material or SRF meditation techniques in this group.

Anyone interested in learning the SRF techniques will be warmly directed to the official SRF Lessons and official SRF resources. Publicly available books, talks, and writings by Paramahansa Yogananda are, of course, welcome as a basis for general discussion.

The tone I hope for is simple: friendly, respectful, non-dogmatic, international, peaceful, and sincere. You do not need to be advanced, perfect, or experienced. Curiosity and respect are enough.

SRF group: First meeting

This will be a simple first meeting for anyone in Prague who feels connected to Paramahansa Yogananda, SRF, Kriya Yoga, meditation, or sincere spiritual practice.

We will meet casually for tea or coffee, introduce ourselves, and talk about what kind of informal circle would be helpful here in Prague. There is no pressure, no formal structure, and no expectation that anyone needs to be advanced or experienced.
I am a relatively new SRF student myself, so this is not a teaching group. It is simply an attempt to create a friendly space for spiritual community.

Everyone is welcome: SRF students, readers of Yogananda, meditators, curious beginners, international residents, Czech locals, and sincere seekers from any background.
The goal is simply to meet peacefully and see whether there is interest in continuing.

Event will be held in English.

Location is to be decided upon depending on the amount of people who will show interest.

Please note: To respect SRF guidelines, we will not share or discuss private SRF Lessons material, and we will not teach SRF meditation techniques. Anyone curious about SRF practice will be warmly directed to the official SRF Lessons and resources.
