What we're about

Are you curious about yoga but intimidated by studios or gyms? Do you want to deepen your yoga practice and meet other like-minded folks? Yoga NYC Meetup offers donation-based open level classes taught by certified yoga instructors. With more than 5000 members, we are one of the largest yoga meetups and offer classes in the park in the warm weather as well as indoor classes and private sessions.

We look forward to seeing you on the mat!

Beginning Flow • All Levels Taught by Kelly

Join Kelly for a slow flow class. It will start with a gentle flow to warm up, and include standing and seated postures, and end with a guided meditation. The class works with inner awareness and the breath, fostering an individual experience to yield maximum personal benefits; can be practiced by anyone of any age. Modifications taught and highly encouraged.

Bring a mat (or beach towel if you don't have one).

Donation-based

About Kelly: Kelly's teaching is informed by what she's learned from years of meditation practice and working through her stuff while going to a job, living in the world, and encountering a lot of hurt people and injustice. She's learning that self-care is essential now, during these pandemic times. Self care is fluid, just like balance. It is not a one thing, done thing. It requires you taking a breath or two and checking in with yourself. Kelly received her 300 hour TT from ISHTA Yoga and has been teaching ever since, including to herself.
