Yokohama Music & Gear Community is a group for musicians, instrument lovers, and anyone interested in music and gear culture in Yokohama.
We share information about events, meetups, instruments, and provide a place for people to connect and exchange ideas. The group is open to musicians, collectors, builders, artists, and music fans of all levels.
The community is also connected to the annual Yokohama Music Style event held at Osanbashi Hall. Everyone with an interest in music and gear is welcome.

### A Music & Instrument Trade Show with Live Music

Yokohama Music Style is a large-scale guitar and instrument trade show held in the beautiful waterfront city of Yokohama.
Instrument manufacturers, guitar shops, independent builders, collectors, and used record dealers from across Japan gather in one place for two full days of music culture.

### New, Vintage & Limited Instruments
Electric guitars, basses, acoustics, pedals, amps, digital instruments, accessories from major brands to boutique workshops.
Limited models, outlet items, and rare vintage pieces will also be available.
### Hands-On Experience
Most instruments can be tested on-site. Try guitars, basses, effects pedals, and experience the latest digital gear.
### Used Record & Book Market
From classic albums to rare records, plus music-related books and back issues.
### Maintenance, Purchase & Trade-In
Some exhibitors offer instrument buyback, trade-in, and simple maintenance by professional repair technicians.
### Special Live Performances & Talk Shows
Free acoustic & electric live performances and talk sessions throughout both days, including special collaborations unique to this event.

This year, we are expanding beyond instruments to celebrate broader music culture.
Because many visitors who love instruments and records also have a deep interest in vintage culture, we are introducing:
• Vintage apparel booths centered around rock T-shirts
• Original sofubi (art soft vinyl figure) creators
• An event-original cocktail created by world-renowned bartender Jun Asakura, officially recognized by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a “Contemporary Master Craftsman” and known as the real-life model for the manga Bartender
Yokohama Music Style is evolving into a space where music, fashion, art, and culture intersect.
