Introduction to Websites

The first meeting will be about websites in general, the parts and possibilities. There will be a formal presentation and an open discussion session. Internet access is available so laptops are optional. You're welcome to follow along on a laptop, tablet or phone device, however the presentations should be entertaining and informative enough on their own. All the presentation contents will available online. Also, Main Street Restaurant is a restaurant. Eating is allowed, even encouraged. You're welcome to order food, nibble on snacks or order drinks during the MeetUp. All skill levels welcome. Meeting content is geared to include basic information for new users as well as advanced tips and tricks for web design experts. We'll have to see the results of the group survey questions and feedback from the first meeting to really lock-down the course of the group. Of course, no discrimination, no religion, no politics, no obnoxious business solicitations. Please. This group will focus on website design and development; maybe venture into some online marketing for a website. There will be plenty to learn from me, plenty to share from each other and lots of opportunities.
