Gals FC is the friendliest way to play football and meet new people 💪💚🩷🤠
We are a women’s recreational football club that believes the best way to get more women playing football is to forget the score. We play to build community, not to compete.
It’s all about fun, friendship, confidence, and feeling a part of something bigger. We provide a welcoming space for women to play, connect, and build confidence.

Women's beginner football community in York
York Sport Village, Lakeside Way, Heslington, Yorkshire, YO10 5FG, GBWe're looking for women and NBP who want to make friends and play football without the pressure of being "good enough". If you've never played football before but have always been interested, this is for YOU - come and join us for a taster session.
We are looking for players who want to play regularly on a Tuesday and build a community of friendly gals in their local area.
All you need to do is show up in comfy clothes, trainers and bring a water bottle! We'll sort the rest.
The session consists of
- Warm up/ Ice breaker (10 minutes)
- Training/drills for skill development (20 minutes)
- A friendly game with no score (30 minutes)
- Optional - Pub drinks (1 hour)To cover the pitch payment, we ask all attendees to contribute £7 after the session.
