Each month we choose a 'theme' for a playlist. Anyone who wants to can suggest a song of that theme to be added. We'll have it playing at the social and send out the track list, so everyone can listen/enjoy/discuss the songs. Anyone is of course welcome to join, regardless of if they've contributed to that month's playlist.For this social, we meet at The Exhibition in the conservatory room - you find it if you keep going right to the back of the pub, towards the garden.

QUIZ NIGHT (Album Club themed!)
The Exhibition Hotel, 19 Bootham, YORK, GBThis month we will be having an album-themed quiz night instead of the usual. It will be based on the albums we've listened to for Album Club since we started it 3 years ago.
Please come along even if (or especially if!) it's your first time - it won't matter if you've not been to Album Club before.

Hooting Owl, Rougier Street ,, York, GBWe are going to meet for a couple of hours to sit down and do some writing - there is absolutely no skill level required to attend! It's completely informal.

Please bring something to write with if you can - pen and paper or a laptop.
Lots of us are interested in songwriting (or any kind of writing!) but struggle to make time for it. This meet-up is intended to help us make some time, have some fun and get a little closer to our writing ambitions. We'll do some writing exercises and group games, with some focused time to work on whatever you like.
It's a casual meet-up, not a formal workshop or critique group, and nobody will be expected to share anything they’ve written if they don’t want to.
