GROUP SONGWRITING

Details TBC (by which I mean we'll work it out on the day!). But the upshot is we're going to write a song. There is absolutely no skill level or experience required to attend! It's completely informal. In fact, the worse at writing you are, the better - I've never written a song before, so you'll be in good company.

This is going to be a bit of an experimental session to see how it could work. We'll try some games/exercises and have a general play around, and hopefully end up with a song. Will it be a good song? No, obviously not. That's part of the fun.

If it's a success - i.e. we have a pleasingly awful song by the end of the afternoon - we'll make this a regular social, and over time build up a collection of songs that the group has collaboratively written.

You can contribute as little or as much as you like, so if you fancy just coming along to see what happens, please do!

You don't need to bring anything, but feel free to bring an instrument if you'd like to 😊

We’ll be meeting at the Hooting Owl Distillery lounge bar (on Rougier Street) upstairs.
