HAXBY FLOWER MEADOW with coffee and cake!

I keep driving past this place and it looks fascinating! It is a wildflower meadow where you can pick your own bouquet, described as “a relaxed, down to earth spot for peaceful afternoons“.

They provide secateurs and a vase or jar from the welcome store and off we go. Obviously, they charge for the flowers we pick and there is also a field of sunflowers at £1 per stem and when they have wrapped our flowers, we can enjoy a drink and a slice of home-made cake. I think it sounds wonderful!

The entrance to the flower field is on the A1237 between The Strensall Road roundabout and the Haxby Road roundabout.
