"The Ye Olde Starre Inne is a superb pub with a history spanning across the centuries. First built in 1644, it's believed to be the oldest pub in York and was even used as a hospital and mortuary during the English Civil War. The pub is a ghost hunter's dream, with sightings of many apparitions over the years."
