π20s and 30s - York National Book Fair Visit π

Details
The books are back in town again. Come join us for a wander around Britain's largest antiquarian book fair at York Race Course and a good old catch up on all things to do with reading.
Whether you're new to York or a local eager to expand your social circle, this event is aimed primarily at people in their 20s and 30s and offers a welcoming atmosphere to connect with like-minded individuals.
βοΈ The Plan π
We'll meet at 11am outside the racecourse and then head inside to browse the 100+ stalls inside. Once we've tired ourselves out of shopping we'll walk over to Dark Horse Espresso (approx 10 mins away) for a cuppa and a natter.
Please note it's a Β£2 entry fee and they ask for cash payment.
πWhat to expect π¬
- A late morning book expedition to purchase or browse the thousands of beautiful books on sale. They do sell some gems for affordable prices (approx Β£4+) so please don't be put off by the antiquarian element.
- An opportunity to make some new bookish friends!
βοΈFood and Drink πͺ
- We'll be venturing to The Dark Horse Espresso Bar for a novel hunting debrief afterwards. We'll be sure to keep the event comment section updated with our movements on the day.
- There is also a cafe on site serving food and drink if you fancy a brew or a snack mid book search.
πWhere is it?πΊοΈ
- The event is based at York Race Course, Knavesmire Y023 1EX.
- There are free shuttle buses running approx every 30 mins from the Memorial Gardens to the event. Please check the Visitors Guide for more information.
π€ New to the Group or Coming Alone? No Worries! π
- Many of our members attend solo and are newcomers to the city or the group. Our friendly hosts will make sure you feel right at home and help you connect with others.
π© Have Questions or Need Directions?π²
- Feel free to send a message to one of our hosts on Meetup or WhatsApp if you have any questions or need assistance finding us. We're here to help!
See you there!
